I built Hydro because I wanted a tool that respects my time and my data. Here is how I handle your information: clear, simple, and direct.

1. Data Ownership

Your data belongs to you. Hydro stores your hydration targets and calorie counts locally on your device where possible. I don't sell your data because that's not why I built this.

2. AI Food Scanning

When you scan a meal, the photo is processed to identify macros. I don't store these photos on my servers longer than necessary to give you the data. Once the analysis is done, it's gone.

3. Reminders

Reminders are processed on-device. The app learns your patterns to be smarter, but that logic lives with you, not in some corporate cloud.

4. Transparency

If anything changes about how data is handled, you'll hear it from me directly. No hidden updates in 50-page legal documents.
